Sasha Landis, maintenance coordinator for the Port Townsend Main Street Program, paints over graffiti and worn spots on public art at the corner of Monroe and Washington streets.
Weather and vandalism had defaced the wooden sculpture, one of five made from reclaimed old growth fir by artist Jonah Trople in 2021 and used as wayfinders and to celebrate the Port Townsend Creative District.
