Sheriff issues neighborhood watch alert along O’Brien Road

PORT ANGELES — Homeowners have reported a suspicious vehicle slowly driving along O’Brien Road between 11:30 p.m. and 2 a.m. consistently over the past two weeks, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office issued a neighborhood watch alert and requested the public’s help in alerting suspicious activity and obtaining a photo of the vehicle or vehicle plate.

A news release described two instances of suspicious activity.

In one instance, a resident confronted the vehicle parked at the end of a driveway, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Another time, a homeowner found two men looking under a tarp at a residence in the 3000 block of O’Brien Road. They fled when the homeowner confronted them.
