Clallam Bay man taken to hospital following Highway 112 wreck

JOYCE — A Clallam Bay man was transported to Olympic Medical Center following a rollover wreck Wednesday evening on state Highway 112 near Garrett Road.

The State Patrol reported that Lane A. Moore, 48, was driving a 2001 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck at 7:45 p.m. when it veered across the eastbound lanes at milepost 47.5, struck a ditch and rolled. The vehicle came to rest on its top in the eastbound ditch.

He was taken to the hospital by local first responders.

Moore was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the State Patrol.

The cause of the wreck and any pending charges are under investigation by the State Patrol.
