PORT ANGELES — A public celebration to officially open Lincoln Center — the center containing the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center, Clallam Business Incubator and Peninsula College Training Center — is scheduled to take place Saturday.

The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. at the center located at 904 W. Ninth St.

A reception complete with refreshments made by skills center culinary arts students and opportunities to tour the building will follow the ribbon cutting.

Five school districts — Sequim, Port Angeles, Crescent, Quillayute Valley and Cape Flattery, — Peninsula College and the Clallam County Economic Development Council partnered to develop the center.
