Huge cruise ship makes temporary stop in Port Angeles Harbor

PORT ANGELES — An Arrow Launch water taxi removed and transported an injured passenger from the 936-foot ms Westerdam, a Holland America cruise ship that pulled into Port Angeles Harbor on Sunday night.

The large ship, which has a capacity of 1,916 passengers, halted in the harbor for about 10 minutes, then proceeded westbound on a seven-night cruise to Alaska.

Identity of the injured passenger was not available.
