ODT near Hill Street reopens after landslide

PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Discovery Trail between Hill Street and Marine Drive in Port Angeles has reopened to trail users.

The trail had been closed since Dec. 17 due to a landslide caused by heavy rainfall.

Hill Street, which was affected by the same landslide, was reopened on Dec. 23, but the trail remain closed until debris movement settled.

The city reported minimal debris movement on Monday, prompting the reopening of the trail.
