PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Parks, Fair and Facilities Department has completed the installation of electric vehicle charging stations at the courthouse.

The chargers, which can accommodate six vehicles at a time, are located in the southwest corner of the parking lot along Fourth Street.

The county received a $68,000 Electrification of Transportation Grant from the state Department of Commerce to install the charging stations.

The charging stations support most vehicle makes and models. They are open to the public 24 hours per day and cost $0.38 per kilowatt-hour.
