Aug. 4; Ann Wright to speak at the Quaker Meeting House in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — Ann Wright will speak from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

Wright will be speaking at the Port Townsend Quaker Meeting House, 1841 Sheridan St.

Mask wear is encouraged.

Wright is a retired army officer and former State Department official who resigned in March 2003 on the eve of the U.S. invasion of Iraq.

Wright is a member of Veterans For Peace and speaks across the country and around the world.
