Highway 112 road work starting Tuesday

JOYCE — Department of Transportation maintenance crews will begin clearing slide debris from state Highway 112 on Tuesday.

Drivers can expect alternating one-way traffic in an 11-mile section of the highway between Joyce-Piedmont Road and East Twin River.

Work crews will be on site between 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, the work is expected to be completed by Friday, Jan. 15.

This work area is 4 miles east of the section of highway near the Pysht River that remains closed due to settling of the roadway.
