First day of fall in Clallam County

The colors of the leaves on a tree at Peninsula College’s Port Angeles campus have already started to turn.
The fall equinox begins at 6:30 a.m., marking the time when daylight and nighttime are equally 12 hours. After today, days will start to get shorter until the start of winter.
