Electrical outage scheduled in West End

Clallam County Public Utility District and Bonneville Power Administration have scheduled a six-hour electrical power outage early Sunday morning to replace a transformer at the BPA’s Sappho substation.

Electric service will be disrupted for customers in Forks, Neah Bay and Clallam Bay and surrounding areas from 11:55 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.

Automated phone calls went out to customers affected by the outage. Those in the affected area who did not get a call are asked to contact the PUD to provide current phone numbers.
