Angry waves beat Port Angeles shore

PORT ANGELES — Wind-driven waves crash against the shoreline at Hollywood Beach in Port Angeles on Wednesday, the result of strong northeasterly winds generated by a low pressure system off the Oregon coast.
High wind warnings around the Salish Sea and the Strait of Juan de Fuca were expected to expire early this morning.
