Community Wellness Project Harvest Dinner planned

CHIMACUM — The Community Wellness Project will host a Harvest Dinner at 5:30 p.m. today.

The fundraiser will be held at Finnriver Farm and Cidery, 124 Center Road.

The locally-sourced meal will be prepared by Margaret Garrett, food service director for Chimacum School district; Stacey Larsen, food services director for Port Townsend School District and Finnriver’s chef Willy Ray.

The dinner will finish with a dessert auction.

Proceeds from the dinner support school gardens and farm-to-school menu options at Chimacum and Port Townsend schools.
