Harper joins utility district as water superintendent

PORT TOWNSEND — Public Utility District No. 1 of Jefferson County has announced the hiring of Samantha Harper as water superintendent.

In this capacity Harper will oversee all water and sewer staff as well as operations at the district’s nine water systems and its multiple community drainfields.

Harper, a licensed professional engineer, previously spent 12 years as an engineer with the city of Port Townsend.
