PORT TOWNSEND — Agents from the Port Townsend and Port Ludlow offices of Windermere Real Estate volunteered at Habitat for Humanity’s Birkenfeld site June 7.

The agents assisted with preparing a house for priming, assembling sections of fencing, transporting materials, and priming siding and trim.

The agents were participating in Windermere Community Service Day.

According to a press release, Windermere real estate offices across the country have been closing for one day each year since 1984 so that agents can volunteer at a charity of their choice.
