PHOTO: Sequim senior wins $1,000 art scholarship

SEQUIM — The Olympic Peninsula Art Association announced that it has awarded a $1,000 scholarship in the name of Bobby Kastner to Sequim High School senior Amanda Wiggins.

The award is based on artwork submitted by Wiggins to the association’s annual scholarship competition.

Wiggins will attend the culinary arts program at Seattle Central Community College in the fall.
