LETTERS: Communist dictatorships, not socialism, killed millions

In the May 17-18 Peninsula Voices section, a letter “List Describes Dems” ended by stating that socialism under Soviet Russia and China killed more people than both world wars combined.

Actually, it was the communist dictatorships under Josef Stalin in the USSR and Mao in China, not socialism, which killed millions.

There is no comparison between a communist dictatorship and socialism.
