Today final day of concerts for four-day festival

PORT ANGELES — Today is the final day of the annual four-day Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts weekend.
Today’s concerts will begin at 11 a.m. with the final act at 4:15 p.m.
Memorial Day will be marked with a ceremony at 11:45 a.m. on the Main Stage.
Tickets for today are $30 for the general public and $15 for active-duty service members and veterans. Students with valid identification can purchase half-price tickets. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge.
The primary festival grounds are at the Vern Burton Community Center at 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles. There are the D.A. Davidson Main Stage, the Nancy Vivolo/7 Cedars Casino Chamber Stage and the festival ticket store, as well as art shows in the Vern Burton atrium and at the entrance to the Main Stage.
During the Memorial Day celebration, Mac Macdonald will share a slide show about his experience during D-Day in Normandy. Stephanie Doenges of the Bread & Gravy band will lead participants in song to conclude the ceremony.
Outdoors at the Vern Burton center will be food vendors and artisans booths, as well as a Community Tent and free outdoor entertainment.
Other venues are at the Elks Naval Lodge at 131 E. First St. The Elwha River Casino Stage will be on the second floor of the lodge. The KONP Stage will be on the third floor.
