Port Townsend High School seniors to present work today at Fort Worden

PORT TOWNSEND — Port Townsend High School seniors will be joined by community members today to present their senior projects at the third annual Senior Symposium & Junior Networking Lunch at Fort Worden.
The event at the Fort Worden PDA Lifelong Learning Center, 200 Battery Way, starts with the arrival of morning symposium attendees from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
The gathering features morning and afternoon presentation sessions at six sites. Each morning and afternoon session at each site also features a panel of community guests.
The senior projects are year-long, community based learning experiences requiring students to spend a minimum of 40 documented hours on their work. Seniors work with mentors in the community to craft the projects.
