PORT TOWNSEND — Jason Bledsoe of the Wooden Boat Foundation Boatshop glues companion framing on the Helma, a 26-foot Danish spitsgatter originally built in 1938. Boatbuilders have been working to restore the Helma for the past year inside the Northwest Maritime Center in downtown Port Townsend. Bledsoe was preparing the area for a pair of doors and beveled glass.
