PORT ANGELES — Volunteers in Medicine of the Olympics (VIMO) was the Jim’s Pharmacy charity of the month for August.

VIMO is a volunteer medical, behavioral health and dental clinic in Port Angeles.

The free clinic primarily serves low-income and homeless patients living in Clallam and Jefferson counties.

Jim’s customers and employees raised $1,018.80 for VIMO.

The collection included a penny war between departments, used book sales, donation jars and extra casual days paid for by Jim’s employees, along with a portion of over-the-counter sales.

Jim’s Pharmacy’s charity of the month for September is St. Andrew’s Place Assisted Living.
