Clallam sheriff seeks man who failed to report

PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a registered sex offender who failed to report to the state Department of Corrections.

Joshua Mirka, 40, was scheduled to report Wednesday, but didn’t show up, according to a press release.

He is suspected of eluding deputies Sunday. He is described as 6-foot-1, weighs 200 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

“Mirka has an extensive criminal history and is considered dangerous,” according to the release.
