SEQUIM — Competitions of strength and skill, fireworks and a 105-piece parade will be highlights of the 122nd Sequim Irrigation Festival grand finale this weekend.
The theme of the festival — which is the longest continuous festival in the state — is “122 Skies of Blue.”
A logging show and truck/tracker pull, a strongman showdown and fireworks launched Friday, while the logging show continued the fun Saturday, along with a show of hot rods and Harleys and a grand parade.
The festival, co-sponsored by the Lavender Jazz and Blues Society and 1st Security Bank in Sequim, is free and open to all ages.
It wraps today with the carnival from noon to 5 p.m. on Sequim High School’s athletic fields along Fir Street.
