SEQUIM — The next session of the Sequim School District’s Strategic Planning Committee will be April 24.

A group made up of district staff, community members and local organization and business leaders is being asked to define a vision, a mission and a belief statement that will provide a road map for accomplishing measurable goals for the district.

Dave Engle, retired superintendent from the Port Townsend School District, serves as facilitator.

Forty-seven participants collaborated in small groups during a recent session at the Sequim Transit Center, 190 W. Cedar St.

In addition to the April 24 meeting, remaining sessions are May 11, May 25, June 8 and June 22. Each meeting is from 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the transit center.

For more information about the sessions or to take part in the planning, contact administrative assistant Marilyn Walsh at 360-582-3262 or mwalsh@sequim.k12.wa.us.
