TACOMA — Neah Bay came ready and prepared for formerly unbeaten Odessa-Harrington, cutting down the Titans 64-34 to earn the school’s fourth Class 1B state football championship on Saturday at the Tacoma Dome.

The Red Devils (11-1) never trailed in racking up their third title in four seasons, holding leads of 6-0 after one quarter, 34-14 at halftime and 50-20 after three quarters.

Cameron Buzzell led the way for Neah Bay, racking up 168 rushing yards on just eight carries, including touchdown runs from 63, 53 and 30-yards out. Buzzell also caught a 59-yard touchdown pass from Rwehabura Munyagi Jr., and completed a 32-yard pass of his own.

Cole Svec rushed 20 times for 87 yards and a score and also caught four passes for another 82 yards and TDs of 16 and 22.

The Red Devils now are the reigning 1B boys basketball and football state champions.
