LETTER: I’m tired of rehashing the pros and cons of ‘X’ and ‘Y’ candidates
Published 1:30 am Sunday, October 23, 2016
When someone asks, “How can you vote for ‘X’ candidate,” it’s a pretty safe bet that he or she is going to vote for “Y.”
To avoid yet another rehash of X’s and Y’s pros and cons, which usually devolves into a heated discussion and resolves nothing, from now until Nov. 8, this is what I’m going to do:
Other person: How can you vote for “X”?
Me: Oh, it’s easy, really.
Perhaps you’re not familiar with the mail-in ballot.
The candidates are all listed, with little circles next to their names.
All I have to do is use a black ink pen to fill in the circle next to my preferred candidate’s name.
