T.S. Fisher and the Smooth Operators bring electric blues to Port Townsend’s Concert on the Dock TONIGHT . . . and other free concerts in the great outdoors this week

THIS WEEK’S SCHEDULE of free outdoor music on the North Olympic Peninsula continues with:
■ PORT TOWNSEND CONCERT ON THE DOCK — Tonight, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., T.S. Fisher and the Smooth Operators (electric blues).
Concert on the Dock, sponsored by the Port Townsend Main Street Program, continues every Thursday through Aug. 20 at the Pope Marine Plaza in downtown Port Townsend.
Bring a chair or blanket and your shades.
The concerts are for all ages.
Dancing is encouraged.
A wine, beer and cider garden for concertgoers is available at the plaza beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Next Concert on the Dock: Hot Damn Scandal (American and gypsy blues), July 30.
■ PORT TOWNSEND FREE FRIDAY AT THE FORT — Friday, noon to 1 p.m., Jazz Port Townsend Participant Big Band led by Clarence Acox.
Free Fridays at the Fort concert series continues every Friday through July 31 at the Nora Porter Commons at Fort Worden State Park.
A state Discover Pass is not necessary for concert parking.
Grab your sun hat and sunglasses, pack a lawn chair or blanket and bring your lunch.
If weather is inclement, alternative plans will be posted on the Centrum website, www.centrum.org.
Next Free Friday concert (last of the season): Port Townsend Acoustic Blues, featuring “songsters” Joe Hunter and Joe Seamons (American roots music), July 31.
■ SEQUIM SUMMERTIME MUSIC! — Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Witherow (featuring Abby Mae Latson and Dillan Witherow with their brand of acoustic rock).
The concert is on the outdoor stage behind the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
The four-concert Sequim Summertime Music! series concludes Friday, Aug. 28. It is funded by Friends of Sequim Library.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
Next Sequim Summertime concert: Fat Chance (classic rock ‘n’ roll), Aug. 14.
■ PORT TOWNSEND SUMMER BAND — Sunday, July 26, at 3 p.m. in Chetzemoka Park, Jackson and Blaine streets.
Popular music by the 40-member band.
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, family and a picnic.
Next PT Summer Band concert: 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, during the Uptown Fair on the Port Townsend Community Center lawn at Tyler and Lawrence streets.
