BUSINESS BRIEFS: ‘Stay at Work’ presentation set for Monday in Port Angeles . . . and other items

PORT ANGELES — A free workshop, “Introduction to the Stay at Work Program,” will take place at the state Labor & Industries Department office, 1605 E. Front St., Suite C, at 2 p.m. Monday.

Businesses can get reimbursed up to $10,000 for offering an injured worker a medically appropriate light-duty job by using the Stay at Work Program, according to a news release.

Attendees of Monday’s program can learn more about controlling workers’ compensation costs.

Evergreen branch

SEQUIM — Evergreen Home Loans has opened a Sequim branch.

The new branch is managed by Michele Adkisson.
