PORT ANGELES — Business consultant Bill Rinehart will address a morning membership meeting of the Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce this Wednesday.
Rinehart, a Port Angeles native, will discuss how businesses can keep their finances in order for the 2015 tax season.
The hourlong chamber morning meetings on the last Wednesday of each month start at 7:30 a.m. at the Port Angeles Senior Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St.
Accident prevention
PORT ANGELES — The state Department of Labor & Industries will hold a workshop to inform employers about how to prevent accidents in the workplace.
The workshop, called “Accident Prevention Program,” is scheduled Feb. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Labor & Industries office, 1605 E. Front St., Suite C.

State law requires that employers develop and implement a written safety program tailored to their work-site hazards and needs.
The workshop is designed for all employers who need help writing or revising their safety program.
