SEQUIM — The “Hallelujah” Chorus, “Peace, Peace,” “The First Noel” and then some are part of the Sequim Community Christmas Chorus’ 30th annual set of concerts this weekend.
The first performance comes this Friday at 7:30 p.m.; then the chorus will step up at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
All three concerts will be at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 30 Sanford Lane, with admission a suggested $5 donation at the door for adults.
Children under 12 are invited to enjoy the concerts free.
Gary McRoberts will direct the 65-voice chorus while Kayla Dyment serves as accompanist in a variety of traditional and contemporary songs, also to include “The Little Drummer Boy” and a chorale arrangement of “One Life.”
All of the concerts promise an audience sing-along, too.
A portion of proceeds will go to Sequim Community Aid and the Shipley Center, aka the Sequim senior center.
