SEQUIM — Writers on the Spit, the group hosting readings every month at Rainshadow Coffee Roasting Co., invites both listeners and wordsmiths to their next gathering Friday.
Karen Hogan and Linda Myers are the featured readers to start at 6:30 p.m., and as always, admission is free.
“Bring your family and out-of-town guests,” said Ruth Marcus, coordinator of this Fourth Friday Reading series.
She added that this will of course be a Thanksgiving edition, with gratitude to Rainshadow owner Don Batcheller.
“Let’s give Don a rousing thank-you for opening his space to us for the past three years,” Marcus said.
She urges listeners and would-be readers to arrive early, around 6 p.m., so they can choose seats and order beverages at Rainshadow, 157 W. Cedar St.
Writers of poetry and prose are also invited to sign in for the open-mic section to follow the featured readers.
