PORT LUDLOW — The Ludlow Village Players invites men and women to audition for two plays: “Night of January 16th” by Ayn Rand and “Cat’s Cradle” by Leslie Sands, this week.
The tryouts will be held at two locations:
■ The Beach Club, 121 Marine Drive, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday;
■ The Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Place, from 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
Audition packets with play excerpts and character descriptions are available at both clubs.
“Night of January 16th” is a courtroom drama with 14 speaking characters and a few non-speaking roles, while “Cat’s Cradle” is a British mystery drama — with accents — for four males and four females.
Rehearsals will start in January for performances from March 27-30.
