EYE ON BUSINESS: This week’s meetings on the North Olympic Peninsula

■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
However, there will be no meeting this Monday because of Veterans Day.
■ Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held at 11:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at noon at SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.
However, the chamber has canceled its plans to meet this Tuesday because of Veterans Day.
The chamber announced Friday that the originally scheduled speaker for Tuesday, John Gussman, will instead address the chamber at a luncheon meeting Nov. 25.
Gussman is director and cinematographer of “Return of the River,” a film on the removal of the two Etlwha River dams.

■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at JT’s Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave.
This Wednesday’s meeting will feature Pam Brown, executive director of West End Outreach Services.
Lunch costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.99; and a cup of soup, $3.99 (all prices plus tax). The entree is cranberry chicken.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
This Tuesday’s scheduled speaker is Melissa Williams, executive director of the Feiro Marine Life Center on City Pier.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
