PORT ANGELES — The Duet, formerly known as the Bottom Line Duo, will return to Maier Performance Hall at Peninsula College for a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Cellist Traci Winters and bassist Spencer Hoveskeland, both Port Angeles High School alumni, have brought their music — from tango and Mexican folk to rock and classical — to audiences throughout the country.

They also come back home for a concert at least once a year, and this time, they’re opening the 2014-15 Maier Hall Concert Series.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students at www.pencol.edu/cultural-events.

If still available, tickets will be sold at the door of Maier Hall, on the south side of the Peninsula College campus at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

The series will bring four chamber concerts to the intimate hall between now and spring: The Duet this Saturday, Ensemble Electra on Jan. 20, the Paul Taub-Byron Schenkman Duo on Feb. 24 and the Onyx Chamber Players on May 23.

For information on these and other public events on campus, visit www.pencol.edu, find the Peninsula College page on Facebook or phone 360-452-9277.
