WEEKEND: Holiday bazaars to offer wide variety of gifts on Peninsula

NOTE: “Today” and “tonight” refer to Friday, Nov. 7.

Stocking stuffers and other holiday gifts are offered at bazaars and fairs on the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.

Here is a list:

BLYN

Tribe’s holiday fair

BLYN — Thirty vendors will sell handmade wares at the Jamestown S’Klallam tribe’s fifth annual Native and Non-Native Holiday Fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The fair will be in the Red Cedar Hall of the Tribal Community Center, 1033 Old Blyn Highway.

A bake sale and raffles also are planned.

All proceeds go to replenish the Tribal Food Bank.

Nonperishable food and/or personal hygiene items can be brought as donations during the fair.

SEQUIM

A Touch of Holiday

SEQUIM — The seventh annual A Touch of Holiday Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Gifts, crafts and a bake sale are planned at the bazaar at the Masonic Lodge, 700 S. Fifth Ave.

Lunch will be available.

Shipley bazaar

SEQUIM — The Shipley Center, 921 E. Hammond St., will host a Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday.

Lunch will be available for purchase starting at 11 a.m.

GARDINER

Holiday bazaar

GARDINER — The Gardiner Holiday Bazaar will be held at the Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Handmade jellies and jams, wooden puzzles, pens, hats, jewelry, flower art, fabric crafts, dolls, soaps and lotions, Santa photos, live music and food will be offered.

Pets are welcome.

PORT ANGELES

Angelic bazaar

PORT ANGELES — Queen of Angeles Catholic Church, 209 W. 11th St., will present its Angelic Bazaar in the gym from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday.

The bazaar will boast crafts, a country store and religious articles.

Photos with Santa are set from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Bazaar, benefit

PORT ANGELES — Highland Commons, 1703 Melody Circle, will present its third annual holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Handcrafted items and baked goods will be available.

Proceeds from a raffle will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

First Baptist bazaar

PORT ANGELES — A Holiday Bazaar will be held at First Baptist Church, 105 W. Sixth St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday.

Gift basket raffles, baked goods and jams, a plant sale, holiday gifts and decor, cookies and candies and stocking stuffers will be offered.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes choices of sandwiches, soups, fruit pies, coffee, tea and cider.

St. Matthew bazaar

PORT ANGELES — St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 132 E. 13th St., will hold a Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Gifts, ornaments and baked goods will be available.

Luncheon, bazaar

FORKS — Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 250 N. Blackberry Ave., will host a holiday luncheon and Christmas bazaar from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The meal and bazaar are fundraisers to support the congregation in worship and service to Forks and the larger community.
