Sequim-area dispute ends with bullet grazing 1 man

SEQUIM — Gunfire erupted from a dispute between two men near Sequim on Sunday evening, leaving one man with a gunshot wound, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
“It’s still active. There were shots fired, and the subject was grazed,” Ron Cameron, chief criminal deputy, said Monday.
The shooting took place at about 6 p.m. at a residence near River Road, south of Sequim,
Cameron said.
No names have been released in the case, and the gunman has not yet been found, he said.
Cameron said the shooting took place after a day-long dispute between the two men, and the shooter is not considered to be a danger to the public.
No additional information was released Monday by the Sheriff’s Office.
