Snow causes schools to operate on 2-hour delay; Queen of Angels canceled

The snow that is falling across the North Olympic Peninsula is causing a delay in the start of classes in several school districts today. Here is a roundup of delays and closures reported so far:

PORT ANGELES

Port Angeles School District: 2-hour delay, buses on snow routes

Queen of Angels School: Friday classes canceled

SEQUIM

Sequim School District: 2-hour delay, no morning kindergarten

PORT TOWNSEND

Port Townsend School District: 2-hour delay, buses on snow routes

CHIMACUM/PORT LUDLOW

Chimacum School District: 2-hour delay, no preschool, buses on snow routes

QUILCENE/BRINNON

Quilcene School District: 2-hour delay, buses on snow routes, no out-of-district transportation

Brinnon School District: 2-hour delay, no out-of-district transportation

JOYCE AREA

Crescent School District: 2-hour delay

FORKS AREA

Quillayute Valley School District: 2-hour delay

CLALLAM BAY/SEKIU/NEAH BAY

Cape Flattery School District: no report
