UPDATED — First JEFFERSON COUNTY returns: Sullivan and Thomas. Harper and Bierbaum.

Attorney and part-time judge Keith Harper and attorney Peggy Ann Bierbaum appear to be the finalists in the race for Jefferson County Superior Court judge.

In the District 2 county commissioner race, incumbent David Sullivan advances along with contractor Tim Thomas of Port Hadlock. Publishing company owner Dan Youra of Port Hadlock finished a distant third.

In the District 1 county commissioner primary, incumbent Phil Johnson took 71 percent of the vote. Challenger Geoff Masci got 29 percent. Both advance to the countywide general vote in November.

David Sullivan (D) — 1,519 votes; 53%

Tim Thomas (R) — 996; 34.75%

Dan Youra (R) — 351; 12.25%

Jefferson County Superior Court Judge, Position 1

Keith Harper — 4,079; 47.88% (will be elected if gets at least 50 percent-plus-1-vote in the final ballot count)

Peggy Ann Bierbaum — 2,886; 33.87%

Michael Haas 1,555; 18.25%
