An 83-year-old Brinnon man was injured in a collision on U.S. Highway 101 about 12 miles north of Hoodsport on Tuesday.
Jerry Dale Johnson suffered internal injuries in the 10:15 a.m. wreck, the State Patrol said.
He was being evaluated in Harborview Medical Center’s emergency room at 4:30 p.m., said Marsha Rule, hospital spokeswoman.
He initially had been taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton and then airlifted to Seattle.
Treated and released from Mason General Hospital were Mey H. Chao, 45, of Seattle and his passenger, Muang H. Saechao, 54, of Kent.
Both had complained of neck injuries, the State Patrol said.
The State Patrol said Johnson, driving a 2005 Pontiac Vibe and traveling southbound, turned in front of Chao, driving northbound in a 2006 Toyota Tacoma.
The State Patrol said Johnson would be charged with failure to yield right of way.
