PORT ANGELES — Free photographs with Santa will benefit the Olympic Medical Center Foundation, thanks to Swain’s General Store.

Children and families can pose with Santa at the store at 602 E. First St. beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Swain’s will buy one 4-inch-by-6-inch photo of each from the Olympic Medical Center Foundation and provide it free to the family.

“We’re pleased to support the foundation once again,” said Don Droz, Swain’s store manager.

Visitors also will be able to instantly view their image and purchase additional photographs and Christmas cards with their personalized photo, said Bruce Skinner, executive director of the foundation, which provides funds for equipment and patient services at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles.

This is the inaugural Santa at Swain’s event. Swain’s is also a major sponsor of the foundation’s Great Olympic Peninsula Duck Derby.
