Victoria’s 2011 Tall Ships Festival canceled

VICTORIA — Next June’s Tall Ships Festival, a favorite destination event from the North Olympic Peninsula that usually stirs visits by international sailing ships to Port Angeles and Port Townsend, has been canceled.
A lack of financial support for the four-day June festival was cited as the reason for the cancellation, it was announced this morning in Victoria.
