Payton Glasser is off to a roaring start for the Sequim Wolves basketball squad.
Last year’s Olympic League 2A All-League first-teamer scored 32 in the season opener over Port Townsend, 22 points and 12 rebounds againt North Mason and 30 this weekend against Coupeville, adding nine rebounds.
Glasser, a versatile 6-foot-5 guard/forward, is averaging 28 points and nine rebounds a game so far, helping to lead the red-hot Wolves to a 3-0 start on the season, including 1-0 in league. It should be a barnburner when Glasser and the Wolves visit rival Port Angeles on Wednesday.
