Sports: Forks wins easily in game with Tenino

FORKS — Great defense and a second half blowout led Forks to an easy 65-34 Southwest Washington League boys basketball victory over Tenino on Tuesday.

David Burr led the Spartans (6-2 in league, 9-5 overall) with 23 points followed by Dustin Daniels with 16.

D.J. Huggins (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Kevin Silcox (11 points, 12 rebounds) each put up double-doubles for the Spartans, who currently share the lead in league with Hoquiam.

Forks outscored the Beavers 38-11 in the second half.
