LETTER: Could dams have prevented Port Angeles water shortage?

If lakes Aldwell and Mills hadn’t disappeared, would we still have restrictions?

One wonders if city of Port Angeles officials would have declared a Stage 2 water shortage alert Sept. 13 if lakes Aldwell and Mills, which were created by the now-demolished Elwha River dams, were still in existence.
