West Side Pizza to open in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — Downtown Port Angeles will have a second new pizzeria, in addition to Bar N9ne, after Westside Pizza opens at 116 N. Lincoln St., between First and Front streets.

Westside Pizza will have a soft opening sometime this weekend followed by a grand opening in about two weeks, said owner Tanner Stephens, who also owns the Westside Pizza in Sequim at 10125 Old Olympic Highway, Suite No. 17.

The opening of the Port Angeles Westside Pizza will be just days after the opening of Bar N9ne Pizzeria & Lounge at the former Lyre’s Club bar at 229 W. First St.

The Port Angeles Westside Pizza can seat 35 and offers takeout and delivery within an eight-mile radius.

It will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Westside Pizza makes its own dough and offers pastas, salads and appetizers. There are 20 Westside Pizzas in the state and two on the North Olympia Peninsula. Most are independently owned.

Stephens closed the Port Townsend Westside Pizza in February. He has owned the Sequim pizzeria for about a year.

Specialty pizzas come in medium ($14.99), large ($18.99) and grand ($24.99) variety. Stephens said a popular specialty pizza is the Death by Pizza, which is piled with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, pineapple, beef, mushrooms, olives, onions, green peppers and bacon bits.
