PORT TOWNSEND — “The Raven,” “The Tell Tale Heart” and “The Haunted Palace,” all by Edgar Allan Poe, will descend upon the new Northwind Arts Center this Saturday night as the PT Shorts literary reading begins.
Admission is free to this 7:30 p.m. program, titled “Spooky Stories,” at Northwind’s new digs, 701 Water St. in the Waterman-Katz building.
Key City Public Theatre presents PT Shorts to coincide with the first-Saturday Gallery Walk, which runs from 5:30 p.m. till about 8 p.m. around downtown Port Townsend.
“Vincent” by Tim Burton, “The Tree” by H.P Lovecraft, Lord Byron’s “The Vampyre,” Lord Lytton’s “The Vampiress” and “The Ballad of William Bloat” by Raymond Carver are also on the agenda, with actors Zach NeSmith, Erin Lamb, Theresa Chedoen and Michelle Stay stepping up to read.
Parental discretion is advised since some of the material may not be suitable for young children.
