PORT TOWNSEND –– The Port Townsend Arts Guild’s 42nd annual Crafts by the Dock Fair will take hold at Madison and Water streets, a block off the Wooden Boat Festival, this weekend.

With its 65 participating artists, Crafts by the Dock will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Juried artists from throughout Washington, the Northwest and the nation will show handmade artwork, from maritime paintings and jeweled sculptures, to knives, children’s clothing and much more.

This event is the largest fundraiser for the Port Townsend Arts Guild, which donates up to $4,500 yearly to qualified college-bound students in the arts.

This year, the Port Townsend Arts Guild awarded two $500 art scholarships to students from Chimacum High School.
