WEEKEND: Juan de Fuca Foundation to benefit from concert Saturday in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — Two local bands, music festival T-shirts, dancing and fundraising will converge on the Metta Room, 132 E. Front St., this Saturday night in the Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts’ winter party.

The Dan de Fuca Band and PufnStuff are the pair of groups to play rock, blues and Americana at the 8 p.m. event, where admission is a $10 donation. That price includes a free Juan de Fuca Festival T-shirt and a free beverage.

The Dan de Fuca Band is singer-songwriter Dan Maguire, also the Juan de Fuca Foundation executive director; guitarist Clark Driese; bassist Eric Neurath; percussionist Paul Schiefer and banjo man Gregg King.

PufnStuff will bring its expanded lineup: singer-guitarists Ches Ferguson and Mike Pace plus drummer Terry Smith and bassist Paul Stehr-Green.
