PORT TOWNSEND — The Black Pearl Cabaret rides again, starting tonight.
“Kreepshow: A Gothic Comedy Cabaret” will open for an extended run at Manresa Castle, 651 Cleveland St., bringing in its wake a cast of strange, comical characters.
With curtain time at 9 p.m. every other Friday and Saturday now through May, “Kreepshow” will unfold in the castle’s Victorian dining room, with dinner and a full bar available.
“Think Tim Burton presents ‘Monty Python,’ and you’ll get the premise of the show,” says creator R O’Donnell.
In this cabaret, he is the spirited Capt. Brazillia R. Kreep, while the young Misha Cassella-Blackburn is circus performer and tango dancer Parthenia Goste. Aidan McClave is the comical cellist Kreepy H. Krawler. And Ares Altamirano is Jack Frost, a man O’Donnell calls “devilishly charismatic.”
“With audience participation, song and dance as well as the occasional special ghost appearance, ‘Kreepshow’ is ever-changing,” he added.
Tickets to “Kreepshow” are $15 in advance at Quimper Sound, 230 Taylor St., and at Manresa Castle. At the door, they will rise to $20.
Performances are slated for tonight and Saturday night as well as April 12-13 and 26-27 and May 10-11 and 24-25.
