PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Peninsula chapter of the Washington Association for the Education of Young Children will present its 26th Building for the Future conference from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 13.
The conference, co-sponsored by the North Olympic Library System, will stream on Zoom.
The free, annual conference is oriented toward those who work or live with small children.
Presentations at the conference include “Attachment and Attunement in Early Learning” by Connie Dougherty; “Picture Books + Yoga = Resiliency Tools” by Jennifer Lu’Becke; “Purposeful Interactions and Planning” by Christiana DeVoney; and “Advancing Equity in Education” by Anna King.
Educators can earn up to 6 STARS/Merit hours at the conference.
